Ms Manobina Chakraborty, FRSA, is the Head of Saaransh Foundation and a distinguished Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, neurodiversity coach, and passionate advocate for Inclusive Education, boasting over 22 years of professional expertise.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (London), Ms Chakraborty is dedicated to fostering collaboration among professionals worldwide, promoting inclusivity across borders of nationality, ethnicity, and ability.
Her career began in journalism with a prominent Indian media group, where she discovered her passion for education. Starting as a teacher of English and Social Sciences in Indore, India, she later pursued advanced studies in Inclusive Education and Autism Spectrum Disorder in the UK. Her journey led her to specialize in teaching children with SpLD and SEND at a distinguished secondary school in Glasgow, Scotland, within the Neurodiversity framework.
Ms Chakraborty's influence reaches globally through consultations with esteemed organizations, contributing significantly to advancing inclusive education practices worldwide.As a certified learning leader, she has played a pivotal role in developing a MOOC on Understanding Neurodiversity for educators and advises corporate entities on integrating neurodiversity inclusion in workplaces.
Recognized for her exceptional contributions, Ms Manobina Chakraborty received the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Award in 2016 for her significant impact on school education in Gujarat, India. She was also honoured with the SENIA International’s World Changer Award in November 2023 and the Global Inclusion Award for Social Impact in March 2024 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, underscoring her global influence and steadfast commitment to fostering inclusive environments globally.
